The quantification of inflation expectations of industrial products based on business survey data

Summary/Abstract: The paper contains the quantification of inflation expectations with the probabil-ity method in order to analyse the qualitative business survey data. The usage possibilities are shown on the basis of the question about the expected selling prices of the company’s products included in the monthly questionnaire of GUS (Central Statistical Office in Pol-and). The obtained quantitative forecast of the producer price index turned to be really promising.
