Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a spatial econometric model of workplace conditions in different parts of Poland. The analysis concerns 66 regions of Poland between 2005 and 2008. This paper explains how: accident frequency rate, gross domestic product, average monthly salary, rate of unemployment in one region and the same features in neighbor’s region influence the duration of absence following an injury.
