Summary/Abstract: Review: Anna Krajewska, Dramatyczna teoria literatury. Zarys problematyki [‘A Dramatic Theory of Literature: An outline’], Poznań 2009. Krajewska’s study is presented as a successful synthetic monograph on our contemporary trends in anthropology and ethics, as well as in performance and drama studies. Especially valuable is Krajewska’s proposition to transgress text-centric depictions, which would allow us to project interpretative attitudes that account for various in-between phenomena – between writing and existence; between word and action; between text and visuality. In reference to works by e.g. T. Różewicz, S. Wyspiański, S. Beckett, S. I. Witkiewicz and T. Kantor, and to the claim about non-narrative construction of identity, Krajewska also leans on Derridian and Tischnerian concepts in order to open to dramatic theory a space for describing literature in categories of cultural games with the world.
