THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PROCESS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: The concept of European integration has several meanings. Generally accepted meaning of the concept of European integration refers to the process of joining the European Union countries. In this sense, the process of establishing relations, negotiations for the conclusion of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, successfully more or less fulfill the requirements for the membership, as well as the idea for further improvement and acceleration of all activities that lead to Serbia’s membership in the EU, in fact, represent its process of European integration. This process has ups and downs, but is the result of commitment to their country that wants built to provide stable environmental conditions and economic prosperity.
