Summary/Abstract: Model of economic growth in the post crisis period assumed investments that promote exports and investment in the creation of new production capacities. The essence is that by shifting investments to the sector of"exchangeable" goods the production will be started and that by accepting socially responsibile businesses to ensure sustainable economic growth and expantion of the consumer base. This paper points out the necessity to undertake a range of measures and activities to create an attractive business environment and favorable investment climate in order to increase trust, attracting and retaining foreign investors. What will be stressed is the need of a more liberal approach to the promotion of the Serbian market as an attractive investment destination and the necessity of changing negative perceptions of Serbia at the global level.
