Summary/Abstract: The prayers and the chants of the office of Baptism. Every moment of a person’s life is under the sign of the divine grace. The foremost indication of the presence of the divine grace within the person is the fact that the first external manifestation of the human being is expressed through music. Nowadays, due to the media interest in ratings, people are faced with three musical genres according to the degree of culture of a person: for the body (manele, rock, folk music, etc.), for the soul (religious music and even some pearls from other genres) and for the mind (ambient music, classical music, etc.). The hymns of the Baptism are nothing else but a prayer and an attempt of direct the human mind towards God in harmony with the circumstances of that service. The Baptism should be performed inside the church in the mysterious atmosphere of the chants which are completed trough thehymns and the pious environment.
