Summary/Abstract: The authoress shows the divergence between Christianity and globalist ideology, especially in the aspect of their different anthropology, different understanding of the meaning and goal of human life. The globalist ideology, based on the neo-liberal concept of man, reduces human life to the horizontal dimension, and depreciates the personal status of man. Human person is a measure of any type of activity, also that of economic and social character, and cannot be treated as a mere means of the realization of materialistic visions. What makes man transcendent is his undeniable relation with the Absolute as the ultimate goal of his nature. The authoress shows that globalization sometimes exercises its anti-personalist and anti-anthropocentric influence on culture.
