Variation of educational spending by communities and counties across regions in 2005-2010

Summary/Abstract: Spending on education is a key item in budgets of local authorities. Educational subsidies from the central state budget to communities and counties have been increasingly modest, therefore, the communities and counties are forced to cover rising educational costs out of their own resources. Less economically developed regions receive more educational subsidies per capita yet the same regions assign relatively more of their own funds to education.
