Diversification strategy in the process of holding companies development

Summary/Abstract: Holding companies are a common form of economic cooperation in the market economy. Due to their specificity, they are able to employ various kinds of diversification. It is an advantageous strategy for holding companies development. However, overdiversification can lead to negative consequences. Currently, among Polish holding companies the related diversification is the most widespread. Unrelated diversification is much less common.
