Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the development of theatrical forms connected to liturgical spaces and the liturgical year in a comparison with Polish theatre from the 2nd half of the 80ties till now. However, the focus of the study is on the outdoor Passio produced on the Main Square and created on the initiative of the Coronation Bratislava association in 2004 – a performance that can be characterized as fragmented, analytical and sculptural, with every motion representing a certain idea or movement of the heart.
