The Innovation Activities of Enterprises in Lubelskie Voivodeship – Research Results

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an analysis and evaluation of enterprise innovation on the basis of data obtained using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI). The main objective of the study was to investigate the innovation activity of 256 enterprises located in Lubelskie Voivodeship in 2012. An additional research objective was to compare the results with previous studies. The survey results show a slight decline in the innovation implemented in enterprises located in the region. A more optimistic sign is the increase in the number of enterprises that have started preparatory or design processes associated with the development of new products, processes or organisational solutions.
