Summary/Abstract: The study examines the correlation between division of household labour and relationship quality and stability based on data of a dyadic research (N = 175 dyads). Recipients of family support and child welfare services participated in the questionnaire survey in Budapest and Pest county. As a consequence, the data primarily applies to families with lower socio-economic status. The aim of this analysis was the examination of whether and to what extent the division of household labour infl uences the relationship satisfaction and the risk of divorce of men and women. Th e output variables (satisfaction, inclination of divorce) are also dyadic, therefore I used the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model with structural equation modelling.
