Summary/Abstract: Project management is an important problem in research and management practice. In business practice, the number of economic activities of enterprises that do not have a procedural nature and are projects oriented to achieve defined goals within a specified time increases. In recent years the literature has emphasized in project management the need to take into account both dynamic and growing complexity of the environment. The problem of increasing unpredictability and non-linearity occurring in projects where standard methods and techniques cannot meet their role is significant. There is therefore a need for a different approach to project management , which is based on system thinking, which at the same time optimally combines the advantages of traditional mainstream in project management. It is important to present the essence of systems thinking in project management to changes in the environment and the limitations of traditional project management.
