Annual Scientific Conference of the University of National and World Economy’s Law Faculty – European Perspectives of Bulgaria– Legal Aspects

Summary/Abstract: On November 30th 2012 an Annual Scientific Conference was held at The University of National and World Economy’s Law Faculty – European Perspectives of Bulgaria – Legal Aspects. Conference was attended by researchers and scientists from different Law Schools all over the country, the Institute of Legal Studies, Academy of the Ministry of Interior, Ph.D. candidates, and students. Conference was organized in one plenary session and two workshops. Two plenary presentations were made – by Professor Tsvetana Kamenova, Director of the Institute of Legal Studies and by Dr. Petko Nikolov, Chair of the Commission for Protection of Competition. The first workshop was dedicated to the civil law and international public law aspects of the European perspectives of Bulgaria. The second workshop focused on the problems of the public law and penalty law aspects in the context of the European perspective of Bulgaria. The perfect organization provided participants with the opportunity for a vital and fruitful discussion on the main conference topic and on all the presentations. Particularly valuable was the contribution made by young researchers, Ph.D. candidates, and students.
