The European Perspective of the Western Balkans - Key Priority of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the first Slovenian Presidency of the Council of Europe during the first half of 2008. In contextualizes Slovenia's domestic and foreign policies in the framework of the overall policies of the European Union. A special attention is given to Kosovo's declaration of independence, which took place during the Slovenian Presidency.
