Summary/Abstract: Comparison of aesthetic concepts of Gjergj Fishta with aesthetic thought in Albanian literary tradition clarifies the source and his ae-sthetic formation. In the history of Albanian literature Pjetër Bogdani first addresses some issues of aesthetics, but the first Albanian aes-thetic treaty is Principles of aesthetics (1861) of De Rada, even it's written in Italian. After De Rada there are two more important names for their aesthetic concepts: Gjergj Fishta and Faik Konica. Fishta and Konica are contemporaneous. Shinime estetike (Aesthetic Notes) [1933] is the main Fishta’s work for its aesthetic. Even though it seems that is conceptualized as an aesthetic system for art and its nature, Aesthetic Notes is not so. There are addressed (treated) some of the most important aesthetic concepts of Fishta: the Beauty and Good in nature, the Beauty and Pleasant, the Beauty that raise up art, art is not imitation, works of art as itself world, theory of two Globe etc. In Fishta’s concepts clearly are distinguished classicist aesthetics concepts, concepts of medieval Christian aesthetics, and concepts of new and romantic aesthetics. But, for the first time in the thought of an aesthetic Albanian author clearly are distinguished also the original aesthetic concepts.
