Flavius Priscus based on the extant epigraphical sources; argues in favour of his individuality and against the conflation with the better known Q. Marcius Turbo; reconstructs his political and military career; discusses the date and nature of the offices he held in Dacia and the circumstances of his office in Mauretania.
