Summary/Abstract: The results of an archaeological study due to a collective find of farm implements form the subject of this information. It accidentally came to light in the locality known as "Dolni Stradini" not far from "Veliki Preslav", the second capital of the First Bulgarian Kingdom. Farm implements like these have been found at other sites in Preslav and its vicinity. However, this particular find draws the attention of researchers interested in farming techniques, because it is one of the rare cases of the simultaneous discovery of culters and ploughshares in a collective find and in a comparatively well dated phase of occupation at that. On the basis of the numerous potsherds of Old Bulgarian incised pottery as well as the two ananymous bronze Byzantine coins, this find of farm implements at "Dolni Stradini" can be referred with certainty to the chronological limits of the 9th-10th centuries.
