Summary/Abstract: As a integrating part of the divine cult, music is its support and in the same time its garment. It’s its support because it transmittesthe message of the text easer and in a more agreeable way (the word having priority within the cult) and it is its garment because it makes cult more accesible to the soul, heart and mind. To achieve this, it depends a great deal on the attention and seriousness attached to the discipline Music in Theological Schools. The priest, the psalm reader, the psaltic group or the choir will combine fortunately the word with the melody if they take seriously into account the two main aspects of singing: the teoretical one and the interpretative one.
