Summary/Abstract: The contemporary processes of globalization in economy (given by the growing number of commercial ex-changes, by the flow of capital, or by the growing number of transnational firms ), and the growing prevalence of transnational communication flows, with the astonishing growth of new media and information technologies have made much of the world one single field of continous interaction and exchange with important consequences for the organization of the social life and culture.
