Summary/Abstract: Management decisions in the context of developing and implementing a new informatic system is a process that brings face to face the managers, the employees and the developers of the informatic systems. The life cycle describes chronologicaly the evolution of the project along the whole duration of the life cycle of the software development, trying to describe how the information can be incorporated whithin the organisation. The first step is to analyse the organisation and to identify the groups and its subcompartments, highlighting the impact which the informatic system will have upon the organisation itself. The decision cycle consists of all the decision mechanisms, including those options of choice during the development of the informatic system. The finalisation consists in the realisation of the documentation regarding the informatic system on how it should be implemented, administrated and maintained at the organisational level.
