Summary/Abstract: The (de)queísmo or the Subordination in Question: Analysis of a Structure. This article tries to understand the linguistic reasons at the origin of a syntactic construction considered as erroneous by the normative grammars. Such a construction consists in using the preposition de in front of the subordination conjunction que while this preposition is required by no element of the sentence. The hypothesis is that this syntax could correspond to a change of perspective. The meaning would be organized from the first actant which is what we talk about and that is the theme or informational support. It is the application of the principle of semantic continuity: the preposition de keeps its original meaning.
