Assessment of Polish regions diversification in terms of farming support forms

Summary/Abstract: The study presents preliminary evaluation of Polish regions diversification regarding forms of support for farming resulting, among others, from EU funds, with particular emphasis on data referring to the number and amount of carried out investment projects in regions, in the recent years. The number of registered entities constituted the reference point. Regional analysis focused on grouping by similarities in applying for investment funds. Hierarchical agglomeration cluster analysis using Ward method was applied for the purposes of distinguishing groups of homogenous regions.
