Summary/Abstract: Despite of a succesful change of the system and relatively successful economic transformation, Poland remains with no axiological project of its own. The paper examines the historical roots of this state and phase transformations in the field of axiology: the influence of socialist and democratic anomies and the process of European integration and membership in the European Union in the context. Axiology is the key sphere for the further development of Polish society, which, after twenty years of successful transformation, must confront the question: what values this relatively successful economy and relatively efficient state are supposed to serve?
