QUELLEN ZUR ENTWICKLUNG DER SLOWAKISCHEN VOLKSKULTUR IN DEN JAHREN ZWISCHEN DEN WELTKRIEGEN

Summary/Abstract: The contribution values the collecting - activities in Slovak ethnography in the interwar period. Between the years 1928-1944 folk prose has been collected. From the year 1939 it has preserved material from the research based on questionnaires focused on present status of traditional ritual culture in Slovakia. In 1940 it was held a field - work searching the customs linked with the birth, further, in 1942, with wedding, folk architecture and dress. On the base of these materials it is possible to search the process of developing of traditional Slovak culture. Nowadays, these valuable sources has started to be published.
