Summary/Abstract: Under the Judgment of 28 October 2014, rendered in the case of Cavani v. Hungary (the application no. 5493/13), the European Court of Human Rights found the violation of art. 8 of the Convention, as the Hungarian authorities failed to perform their positive obligations arising from art. 8 of the Convention in the matter of the reunification of the child with his parent, as construed and interpreted in the light of the Hague Convention and of the Council Regulation (EC) no. 2201/2003.
