Evaluation of the use of RDP Funds 2007-2013 for the setting up of young farmers

Summary/Abstract: The article assesses the use of RDP 2007-2013 to the Measure 112 − Setting up of young farmers. The main objectives were the legal aspects of the use of funds from this action, as well as an analysis of the level and scope of support under Measure 112, by voivodeship, the size, and the main direction of farm activity. The resources available to help start young farmers amounted to 2.39 billion PLN, which accounted for a total of 3.3% of the budget of the RDP 2007-13. By the end of December 2012 under the Measure 112 bonuses exhausting available resources in 96.6% were awarded.
