Summary/Abstract: In this article the authors try to realize a comparative analysis between the historical trajectories of the Hungarian minorities in Romania and Turks minorities in Bulgaria, in the communist period, in order to identify a series of politicizing conditions of allegiance (affiliation to) which are responsible, in their opinion, for the ethnic division in these countries. During the time, they consider the approach of the minorities problem was linear and in terms of deterministic history. The comparison they propose is going to permit the rethinking of the concept of minority, too.
