Summary/Abstract: The manor complex in Witulin has a rich history. The key role in its history was played by the Wężyk family that moved from Wielka Ruda to Witulin and lived there for over 150 years. In the history of the manor Franciszek Wężyk marked his presence in a particular way; he was a poet, the Krakow Castellan, the President of the Polish Academy of Learning. The larch manor was a nine-axis building, designed on the plane of a rectangle. It had one floor with a three-axis middle part that had two floors. The park was an element of the complex. The manor was burnt down in 1940.
