Information Technology and webGIS in teachers' education - an e-learning course

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the curriculum of the course concerning Information Technology and webGIS in teaching Geography and Science, conducted in the form of e-learning at postgraduate studies for future teachers of those subjects. The course was based on the software, applications and tools available in the Internet, webGIS as well as free GIS software. The content and scope of conducted classes were influenced by the survey checking students' knowledge on office programs and the skills of searching for spatial information.
