Meeting on the Léman. Charles Ramuz and the Polish poets

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is geographical space of the Lake Léman, fixed in literary work of Charles Ramuz and three Polish authors: Adam Mickiewicz, Julian Przyboś and Czesław Miłosz. Comparative reading of the Swiss writers prose and the poems by the aforementioned authors lets recognize the basic meaning of experiencing this space. Perception of Léman is the source of autobiographical reflection and, at the same time, it discovers a most profoundly metaphysical perspective.
