Summary/Abstract: Onesicritus and Aristobulus, participants in Alexander’s expedition to India and authors of historical works relating his achievements, describe their meetings with Indian philosophers in fragments of their histories, preserved in Strabo’s Geography. These testimonies, most probably authentic, are analysed here.
