Summary/Abstract: The Charisma Phenomenon And M. Weber' s Sociology Of Politics. The not ion of charisma, even the whole sense configuration in which charisma as a phenomenon worked was shifted by Max Weber from the level of moral theology to the terrain of political sociology. This "epistemological tendency" of Weber's is not anything unusual in German thought. In the middle of the nineteenth century, L. Feuerbach pointed out that "anthropology is a due to theology". However, at the beginning of our century, the situation was reversed and many important thinkers have come to the conclusion that "theology is a due to anthropology" which means that they have become aware that in describing basic structures of human existence, theologians were much more thoughtful than modem philosophy admitted. Turning Feuerbach the other way round, we could say that according to Weber "theology is a due to sociology", namely that Weber tries to decipher phenomena described by moral theology or that he discovers a mystical core behind rational structures of modernity.
