Summary/Abstract: Russians according to Lev Gumilev Lev Gumilev (1912—1922) was a son of famous poets Anna Akhmatova and Nikolai Gumilev, who was executed by bolsheviks in 1921. As a child of „enemy of the people” Lev Gumilev was removel from University of Leningrad and four times prisoned or deported to soviet concentration camps (1935—1956). After XX Congress of the CPSU Gumilev continued academic career as notable historian, geographer and ethnologist. His ideas allow to honor him as top neo‑eurasianist. He regarded, that Russians should be proud of tatar-mongol heritage of their country. Middle Ages “Tatar Yoke” of Rus’ is nothing but alliance against the influence of West. Gumilev achievements is the change of “the black legend” of Huns, ancient Turks and Mongols civilization.
