Summary/Abstract: The article provides a detailed study of the policy of the Yugoslav aeronautical industry towards the Yugoslav Army, Air Force and civil avia-tion in the 1930-ties. This branch of industry was organised in a kind of council, that have the intention to influence the priocurment from the Air Force and other institutions. Also to maintain the level of created prices for thir products. The Article is focused on it’s ambitious approach to the Air Force, and its efforts to monopolize the procurment of the airframes and other componets. It also stress the significant delay in the productions of the indigenious and licence bulit types in the years prior to the World War Two. It created situation where the Yugoslav Air Force entered the war in April 1941, with numerous types of aeroplanes, engines and other equip-ment, which even earlier produce the difficulities in maintinang the com-bat readinness. The article is based on the archival sources kept in Belgra-de’s Arhiv Jugoslavije.
