Man’s Intrinsic Powers, Education and Alumni Relations

Summary/Abstract: The project “Tsenov Academy of Economics’ Alumni – a Strategic Resource in its Positioning on the Educational Market” (“Alumni” Project) aims to design and approve a system of the Academy’s work with its graduates (alumni relations) as an effective means for defending competitive positions on the market of economic knowledge. It is a practical realization of the understanding that in man’s individual existence his/her intrinsic powers, mainly the intellectual ones, as well as the abilities for labour realization related to them, play a major role. They are formed in the system of education. Modern technological progress poses to higher schools the issue of participating in the organization of their alumni’s self-education after graduating. It is not only a personal but also a social issue as individual’s abilities are bound with the established division of labour. The office managing alumni relations is directly involved in solving this issue in the higher school.
