Summary/Abstract: The article presents the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), business ethics and corporate values – the assumptions, stages and influence on financial performance of the enterprise. The article also addresses the issue of shareholder capitalism as well as the necessity of perceiving the shareholders value as enlightened shareholder value.
