Summary/Abstract: This article aims to investigate the voting power of political groups in Romanian Parliament after elections held in December 2012. Using some classical indeces of voting power such as Shapley-Shubik, Banzhaf and Coleman indices, the paper leads to the conclusion that the relative power of political groups within Parliament significantly varies from voting weights that these groups have as a result of the election outcome.
