Summary/Abstract: In the spirit of comparative research study aims to make a comparison between the novel "Solaris" by Stanislaw Lem and the film by russian film director Andrei Tarkovskiy. The results of the research should address the differences that are based on the use of different media and the comparison, it shows that the works are individual creations.
