Summary/Abstract: The issues related to how much language can generate power, how much powerlessness may be expressed through the use and repetition of certain linguistic forms, how much the style may indicate a certain dominant ideology are analyzed through two novels: Remnants of a Sky by Vlado Maleski and The Magus by John Fowles.
