THE INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION AS A SET OF SIGN SYSTEMS

Summary/Abstract: The present study reviews the interpretation of the contemporary forms of the phenomenon intercultural communication as a kind of complex system of signs. In fact this investigation is focused on the cultural codes socially analyzed as systems with abstract meaning, directly expressed through the curtural forms of behavior: verbal discourse, body language (nonverbal communication), literary texts, artistic creative executions, religious ceremonial activities, dressing style etc.
