Summary/Abstract: This paper is focused on media representation of Roma people in Romani print medium Romano hangos (Romani voice), which serves as a platform for presentation of Romani attitudes. Study draws on characterization of Romani minority and its social problems, on the theory of media construction of social reality and previous research on Roma people representation in communication media or other minority media. The analysis of Roma people representation in Romano hangos was accomplished by quantitative content analysis of designed sample of 24 issues of the particular print medium from 1999 to 2007 (incl.). Representation of Roma people was analyzed for example in light of structure of topics, presentation of social problems, heterogenity of Romani minority or presentation of traditional Romani identity and Romani nature.
