The European Policy for Social and Economical Cohesion

Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the analysis of the principles and general orientation of the European politics of economic and social cohesion, and the specific consequences that this communitarian strategy has towards Romania. Our main interest is to observe the answers given by the Management Authorities in charge with the implementation of the national operational plans. We shall also underline the measures they adopt in reaching the objectives concerning the economical growth and the economic and social development. The article wishes to offer some alternatives and solutions to the questions: How does the national strategy functionalise the attributions of the competent Management Authorities? How do the internal principles of functionality attune to the principles functioning at a communitarian level? What kind of answers are provided by the national authorities and what instruments do they use to finance this process extended over more years?
