Summary/Abstract: The successful Hollywood scriptwriter Petre Popescu reveals the truth concerning his presumed love affair with Ceausescu’s daughter Zoe. Despite the rumors of the époque the young writer did not respond the “pharaoh’s daughter” attentions. Yet, Zoe as she is portrayed by her presumed lover appears to be herself a victim of the dictator’s regime.
