Summary/Abstract: Sellars's critique of the myth of the given could be summarized by the statement that the idea that epistemic facts can be analyzed into non-epistemic facts is a radical error, or a myth. Тhis myth occurs in Kant as well. In order to argue this, I analyse the Janus-faced nature of intuition and the concepts of sensibility, space and time, σ– and τ–dimensions. This analysis aims to show Sellars' positive corrections to Kant's philosophy, whereby the myth of the given is avoided.
