Summary/Abstract: Inversion is a linguistic practice that aims a particular dimension of language functioning. The reverse is also designed as a language update: it implies both social and linguistic dimensions in a situation of particular communication, such media. In this context of reflection, we propose to decipher some “tricks” of the inversion in the media language on the Egyptian Revolution – also known under the name of the “Revolution of January 25, 2011” – as appear on multiple syntactic structuring, examining the linguistic forms inverted and particularism associated with their use by analyzing data collected from the daily French press, which we will analyze as manifestations of the dynamics of French depending on the context.
