Summary/Abstract: Starting from the lexicological theoretical approach and necessarily undergoing a step of elaboration of hundreds of term entries, our study proposes a global vision on the lexical structure of contemporary Italian language, focusing on the two fundamental lexical processes, derivation and compounding.
