Summary/Abstract: The religious education has a predominately open character, it addresses to each human being and it was considered not only an opportunity, but also a divine order: “You shall teach all gentiles!” (Mathew 28.19). The valorization of the religion values in the education perspective is meant to contribute to the continuous development of human being, especially at a cognitive and affective level. The religious values promoted by means of the official documents are connected to the oversensitive reality of religion and to the way it must be known, practiced, so that it becomes an essential criterion of skills and behaviors’ formation. The multitude of factors that can support and also perturb the efficient development of the didactic activity in Religion has led to the necessity of identifying some direction of activity and to the formulation of some proposals for action that are meant to create the framework for the presentation of the religious values in the context of the contemporary educational and social realities.
