Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to provide key statistical data concerning Polish repatriation policy and the repatriation process. The author begins with information on the total number of people of Polish descent who were repatriated under the Repatriation Act, the repatriates’ place of settlement in Poland and their household structure. The next section looks at the financial support from the state budget granted to the repatriates, the local governments organizing repatriation and employers offering jobs to repatriates. In the final section the author examines the factors that stimulate repatriation to Poland.
