Summary/Abstract: Social enterprises are the main part of subjects operating within the framework of the social economy sector. In the introduction, the author describes the essence of social entrepreneurship. The aim of this paper is to present the evolution of social enterprises in the historical perspective. This article is an attempt to prove the identity of possibilities of social enterprises development.
